Recommended top clip used to hang the HydraSleeve on the tether (Use in 4" dia. wells). It will also hold the HydraSleeve in an open formation at the top for faster filling rates. Leaving the Spring Clip attached to the tether makes it easy to simply re-attach a new HydraSleeve for subsequent sampling events.
Also used to attach the hollow PVC top weight to the top of 4-inch HydraSleeves. 4-inch PVC Top Weights will come with this Spring Clip as the attaching device.
Reusable. Standard material = stainless steel. 3" wide at the bottom x ~5" tall.
PLEASE NOTE: SPRING CLIPS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR WIRE-WRAP WELLS, OR IF THERE ARE OBSTRUCTIONS OR ROUGH EDGES IN THE WELL. ALSO, DON'T USE SPRING CLIPS IN CASES WHERE THE HYDRASLEEVE IS A TIGHT FIT IN THE WELL. PLEASE FOLLOW THE ALTERNATIVE ATTACHMENT INSTRUCTIONS SEEN BELOW.
Should be used with HS-2 and HS-2-1L - and need to be ordered separately.
We recommend using Spring Clips for most applications.
Don't use Spring Clips in wire wrap wells or where there are obstacles or rough edges in the well. Armored sleeves are typically used in such applications so we don't recommend Spring Clips for the armored bags.
